Seasons Greetings from all at Rebecca's Wishes

Our fundraising total to date is in excess of £38, 000 and we would like to take this oppurtunity to once again thank all the local businesses and their staff and you, the kind hearted public, for making all this happen. At our Summer Family Fun Day, in spite of the rain and some last minute changes of plan, we managed to make a wonderful £1028.

We, the trustees, are unpaid volunteers but without you we could not make wishes come true. Thank you for all the support. xxx You are the real stars! Thank you x

Here are a selection of some of the families you have helped:

JASMINE: Jasmine has undergone radiotherapy and chemotherapy for Ewings Sarcoma. She will be 10 in May and her wish was to have a family holiday at Center Parcs to celebrate her birthday. We had the pleasure of arranging this for the whole family and they are all excited about going.

PERRY: Perry is 12 and has just had major surgery for liver cancer-this was preceded by chemotherapy and also followed by chemotherapy. The family had no kitchen, carpets or sofa. We have provided financial assistance, as mum had to give up work to care for Perry and she is a single mum. We also provided Perry with a Guitar Hero 3 game, which was a nice surprise for him.

DANIEL: Daniel has just been through two years of chemotherapy for leukaemia. He is just 6. The family have never had a holiday and Daniel wanted to go somewhere warm and play on the beach. We are sending the family to Lanzarote, their choice, for two weeks in the sun.

JOSH: Josh has a brain stem tumour and will not survive. He is just 6 years old. The family wanted a last holiday together at Center Parcs, which we were glad to provide for them.

DEMI: Demi is just 3 years old and has cancer of the eye. She loves Angelina Ballerina and we have had the honour of arranging a pink limosine and theatre tickets for her and her family to see the stage show in Norwich.

Sometimes in the calm of night
When gazing at stars burning brightly...brilliantly,
A shooting star blazes a trail so radiant
All the stars in the sky turn to watch it pass.

Blaze brightly in everything you do...make a difference. Light up the world!

Hushed, they bask in it's fire and vibrancy
And wishes are made by all who gaze upon it.
It may burn for a shorter time
But it leaves imprints on the hearts of all.
